On Monday 23rd March 2015, the key stage 1 children at Heronswood Primary School, Kidderminster held a great museum.

The air was full of excitement and please note that the KS1 children organised the whole museum! It was about all about famous people and parents, carers and grandparents were our guests.

Isambard Kingdom Brunel (the engineer) and Captain Falcon Scot (the explorer) were two famous people who the children had been learning about and they designed lots of activities and games based on them. For example, Scot had - pin Scot on Antarctica and name the continents games. Also Brunel’s games included building a bridge across the table and across two chairs, with only 3 pieces of paper and 30cm of tape. What a challenge!
It felt like a holiday because the children had so much fun. Also there was two amazing competitions and super prizes which were both chocolate.
