Admissions 20202
Term times

We were delighted with the number of people who supported the school last Friday by attending the summer fair.  There was a happy and relaxed feel as people explored all the stalls that were on offer and with the sun shinning on us, we couldn’t have asked for any more.  It was lovely to see lots of our families, friends, relatives and local residents soaking up the carnival atmosphere.

In total we managed to run almost 30 stalls.  Some of these were organised by our teachers, our children, Heronswood Helpers and outside people as well.  It meant that we had a whole selection of different things to offer different ages.  The gift bag stall appeared to be the most popular stall and all the gift bags had sold out in the first 45 minutes.

Overall the summer fair has been a huge success, not just because everyone had a fantastic time but also because we are delighted to announce that we have raised approximately £1800 which will be added to the other amounts that have already been raised for the school this year.

The fair would not have been possible without all our families making donations over the last couple of months, without a core group of parents attending the meetings, doing leaflet drops in the area, setting up and running the stalls and Jo Watson who gave up her time to organise the fantastic raffle prizes and Andrew Rawlinson who donated the marquee which became our café area.

Thank you to everyone for making our fantastic fair possible.
