The Wyre Forest and Hagley Project (WHP) is a service for parents and carers with a child attending a local primary school in Kidderminster, Bewdley, Stourport or Hagley.

WHP provide support early, helping to ensure that our pupils can make the most of their time in school. WHP are here to support your child and your family and can help with:

  • Helen Cartwright
    Improving school attendance
  • Avoiding exclusion
  • Emotional / behavioural issues
  • Relationship and family difficulties
  • Debt and money worries
  • Bereavement
  • Healthy relationships
  • And much more....

If your child has recently started having a difficult time at school then we may suggest that you speak with our WHP Link Worker - Helen Cartwright. Sometimes there may be difficulties at home - if you think that your child and family could benefit from some support then you can also contact the WHP Link Worker direct, or speak to school reception.

WHP Link Workers also run regular friendly courses for parents in the local area. These are relaxed and informal small groups. All WHP courses are free.

Please call 01562 851292 (8.30am to 3pm, 24hr answer machine) or speak with our WHP Link Worker here in school to find out more and to book a place.

Please visit the ContinU Trust website at www.continu.org.uk/whp for more information about the WHP early intervention service and for links to other sources of help and support for children, parents and families.
