West Mercia Police made a visit to Heronswood Primary School and Pre-School to help prepare and educate the children on staying safe during the celebrations this half term.

Children learnt all about how to respect their neighbours around Halloween time whilst still having fun and enjoying the special celebrations.

In anticipation of children attending firework displays, PCSO Cathy Palmer from West Mercia Police also revised the Firework Code to ensure that all children were entertained during this period whilst being aware of theirs and others safety.

“Heronswood Primary School value the children’s safety in and out of school and we have formed links with West Mercia Police to deliver these important messages of keeping safe during Halloween and Bonfire Night.” said Mrs Mikolajczyk (Year 3 teacher)
