Children at Heronswood Primary modelled their inspired creations for a special parade held at the school during the first week back after the holidays.

Real straw, egg-shaped accessories, chicks and bunnies were all involved in the fun event. Parents, carers and families we blown away with the talent displayed in making the bonnets and eggs – from Preschool to Year Six.

“The Easter bonnets were fantastic and everyone enjoyed the day. The winners were thoroughly deserving and we must thank everyone who worked so hard to create innovative and colourful bonnets,” said one of the judges Governor Luke Boxall.   The competition was judged by Governors Luke Boxall, Tina Colloty, Phil Coldicott and Nicholas Watson. They all agreed it was an impossible task to choose just twelve winners from the hundreds of entries.

Twelve extraordinary winning bonnets and eggs won a prize which was presented to the worthy winners during our celebration assembly.

Well done to our fantastically creative and talented winners!
