Yesterday for the first time ever, we took the whole school to Redditch Palace Theatre to see the pantomime production of Cinderella, starring Anne Charleston as the Fairy Godmother.

The children were amazed by the bright, colourful backdrops and scene settings, were delighted with Buttons, who made them laugh the whole way through and were intrigued by Prince Charming, who was very pretty!!  In addition the children were a little bit terrified by the ugly sisters, who were really ugly, and the big bang they created as they blew up the sauna.

It was fantastic to see all the children with their eyes glued to the stage, completely enamoured by all the action, drama, music and lights; there was so much to look at and listen too.  At one point the children were also dancing along in their seats to Night Fever and joining in with the words of Hey Baby.

We were delighted by the huge success of the event, and the organisation and logistics of 300 children, 30 adults and 7 coaches ran without a hitch.  Thank you to all our parents for their co-operation and for being so patient as we dismissed the children safely.

Have a fab Christmas everyone and we will see you in the New Year!!
