Just before half term we handed out our parent questionnaire survey at parents evening, to enable the views of our families to be heard.  We were delighted to receive 62 responses which have since been analysed and viewed on an individual basis.

It was very pleasing to see that 100% of the responses received form our parents acknowledged that as a school we encourage our children to work hard.  In addition 99% of our parents believe that their child is taught well and also 99% believe that their child is making good progress.

In relation to communication and homework two parents said they strongly disagreed with what we are doing at Heronswood.  Over the last 18 months we have been working tirelessly to improve in all aspects of school life.  Our latest development has been the introduction of homework club that runs every Monday after school.  So far around 30 children attend each week with between 5 and 10 parents also joining in.  We are delighted with the positive responses received about the homework club and hope children and parents continue to access it each week.
