Heronswood children took part in the Rivers MAT Science day ‘The Sound of Silence’.
Children worked scientifically as Scientists to investigate sound. Children learnt: how to use British Sign Language to communicate with each other; discovered how humans hear sound; investigated how sound waves travel; researched about how animals hear sound; and used their listening skills to identify noises outside. They enjoyed using their skills and gaining new knowledge about sound and communication.
